Recap: Rome Free Academy Black Knights vs. Fayetteville-Manlius Hornets
The Rome Free Academy Black Knights posted their biggest win since December 19, 2023 on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 64-36 win over Fayetteville-Manlius at home. Rome Free Academy pushed the score to 47-23 by the end of the third, a deficit Fayetteville-Manlius had little chance of recovering from.
Rome Free Academy found their leader in underclassman Haylee Bostwick, who scored 20 points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Cunningham, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Rome Free Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rome Free Academy will play host again and welcome Proctor, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fayetteville-Manlius, they will be playing at home against Central Square at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
