Lake Central is a perfect 5-0 against La Porte since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Slicers at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Lake Central's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while La Porte has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

On Monday, Lake Central got the win against Merrillville by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won six in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lake Central was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-10, 25-11.

Meanwhile, La Porte lost 3-0 to Valparaiso on Monday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 25-17.

La Porte's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Lake Central, their victory bumped their record up to 22-6.

Everything went Lake Central's way against La Porte in their previous meeting back in April, as Lake Central made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Slicers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
