Volleyball Recap: Sebring Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Sebring proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls, sneaking past 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Streaks sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Sebring wouldn't go down easily and took LaBelle into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 21-25, 18-25, 15-10.

Alana Cohen was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 19 digs and five aces. Cohen is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Cohen wasn't the only good server: Sebring was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Sebring's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for LaBelle, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Sebring and LaBelle will both be playing Moore Haven the next time they take the court. The Blue Streaks will host the Terriers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cowboys/Cowgirls will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
