Soccer Recap: Liberal Takes a Loss

Liberal had taken Garden City down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Redskins fell just short of the Buffaloes by a score of 1-0. Liberal were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Garden City apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Liberal's defeat dropped their record down to 6-1. As for Garden City, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0-1.

Liberal didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-2 win against Life Prep on the 23rd. Garden City has also already played their next game (against Dodge City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
