Recap: Broomfield Eagles vs. Rocky Mountain Lobos
The Broomfield Eagles won the last time they faced the Rocky Mountain Lobos, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Broomfield walked away with a 55-45 win over Rocky Mountain. The win made it back-to-back wins for Broomfield.
Broomfield found their leader in underclassman Paige Gilpatrick, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Gilpatrick has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ej Harper, who scored 18 points.
Broomfield's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Rocky Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
Broomfield's road trip will continue as they head out to face Monarch at 5:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Rocky Mountain, they will be playing at home against Erie at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Erie is ranked 23rd, while Rocky Mountain is ranked 33rd).
