Basketball Game Preview: Frederick Bombers vs. Big Pasture Rangers

The Frederick Bombers will square off against the Big Pasture Rangers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Frederick easily dispatched Hollis on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Frederick fell just short of Leedey by a score of 41-38 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Bombers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Bison are ranked 63rd).

Meanwhile, Big Pasture unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 60-44 bruising from Sterling.

Big Pasture's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-3. As for Frederick, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Frederick beat Big Pasture 59-46 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Will Frederick repeat their success, or does Big Pasture have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
