Basketball Recap: Temple Academy Takes a Loss

Temple Academy lost against Faith Christian on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Crusaders fell 49-38 to the Eagles. The matchup marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mason Taylor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Faith Christian, dropping a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards. Those 15 points gave Taylor a new career-high. Hayden Arnett was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Temple Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Faith Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Temple Academy will challenge Maryville Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Faith Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-42 win against Calvary Christian on the 14th.
