Baseball Recap: St. Frederick Comes Up Short

St. Frederick managed to slip by Oak Grove the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Tigers on Thursday, falling 8-2.

St. Frederick's defeat dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Oak Grove, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Frederick will challenge Block at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.5 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Oak Grove, they will square off against Family Community Christian at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
