Union Hill won the last time they faced Bloomburg and things went their way on Friday too. The Union Hill Bulldogs walked away with a 55-46 victory over the Bloomburg Wildcats.

Union Hill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but EJ Mowery led the charge by dropping a double-double on 30 points and 16 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Mowery has scored at least a third of Union Hill's points. Micah Barlow was another key player, going 6 of 9 to rack up 13 points.

Union Hill's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Bloomburg, their loss dropped their record down to 5-19.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Hill will square off against Avinger at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Union Hill is facing Avinger at the right time seeing as Avinger is stuck on a 20-game losing streak. As for Bloomburg, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats face off against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Saltillo knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Bloomburg likes a good challenge.
