Georgetown is 8-1-1 against Elgin since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will head out to take on the Wildcats at 7:15 p.m.

Friday just wasn't the day for Georgetown's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of East View on Friday. That's two games in a row now that Georgetown have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Elgin was able to grind out a solid victory over Weiss on Friday, taking the game 4-2. The win continues a trend for Elgin in their matchups with Weiss: they've now won three in a row.

Elgin's victory bumped their record up to 10-7-3. As for Georgetown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7-4 record this season.

Georgetown beat Elgin by a goal in their previous meeting back in January, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
