Pope John Paul II had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Hendersonville Commandos. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Commandos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2022.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Pope John Paul II got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 21-25, 25-10, 17-25, 15-13.

Pope John Paul II's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Hendersonville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.
