Softball Recap: MacArthur Generals vs. Champaign Central Maroons
MacArthur had lost nine straight at home dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 0-12 to make it ten. They came up short against the Champaign Central Maroons, falling 24-0. If the Generals were looking for revenge after losing 19-1 to the Maroons when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
As for Champaign Central, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1. The result was nothing new for the Maroons, who have now won 11 matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
