Softball Recap: Cohoes Gets the Win

The Cohoes Tigers earned a 6-1 win over the La Salle Institute Cadets on Friday.

Cohoes now has a winning record of 6-5. As for La Salle Institute, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cohoes will square off against Academy of the Holy Names at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for La Salle Institute, they will challenge Ichabod Crane at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cadets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Riders have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
