Passers beware: Devonte Powell came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made ten total tackles (1.0 for loss), helping propel Denton past Azle by a score of 35-23. We hope Powell's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Powell and Denton will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brewer at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
