After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pontotoc, West Point was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Aberdeen Bulldogs a 17-0 shutout. The Green Wave might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

West Point now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Aberdeen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

West Point will venture away from home to square off against Clarksdale at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aberdeen has already played their next match (against Thrasher), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
