Basketball Recap: North Bay Haven Academy Skates Past Wewahitchka with Ease + How To Watch

A well-balanced attack led North Bay Haven Academy over Wewahitchka in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Buccaneers blew the Gators out of the water with a 62-13 final score. The Buccaneers have beaten the Gators the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Gators has come to flipping the script.

North Bay Haven Academy was led to victory by Kaylee Goodpaster and Ally Brady. Goodpaster dropped a triple-double with 20 points, 16 rebounds, and ten assists, while Brady dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Goodpaster's big performance that evening made it 11 games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Claire Corbitt was another key player, going 5-for-8 to rack up 10 points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: North Bay Haven Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive contests.

The victory got North Bay Haven Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Wewahitchka, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
