Bishop has gone a perfect 3-0 against Escondido Charter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Conquistadores are ranked 672nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cash Herrera produced another solid performance throwing for 174 yards and three touchdowns. Khai Agbayani got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Escondido Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against Army-Navy, falling 41-2.

Bishop's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.8 points over those games. As for Escondido Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything came up roses for Bishop's against Escondido Charter when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 50-7 win. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
