Volleyball Recap: Wrangell Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Wrangell waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Craig Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Leading Wrangell to victory were Christina Johnson and Sophia MartinSen. Johnson had 16 assists and two aces, while Martinsen had seven digs. Johnson has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 17 times she's played. Alana Harrison also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

The win got Wrangell back to even at 5-5-1.

Wrangell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Hoonah on the 17th. As for Craig, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Petersburg on the 18th.
