Recap: Ridgedale Rockets vs. Perry Commodores
The Ridgedale Rockets''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 19-16 win over Perry. That's another feather in the cap for Ridgedale, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Ridgedale's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landon Murphy, who picked up 88 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Ridgedale also got a significant boost from Michael Deas, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 101 yards.
Ridgedale has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Perry, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Ridgedale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Perry is also done with their season.
