Softball Recap: Dutch Fork Silver Foxes vs. White Knoll Timberwolves
Dutch Fork hadn't done well against White Knoll recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Silver Foxes sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Timberwolves. The Silver Foxes haven't had any issues with the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Layla Peppers made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Peppers was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Olivia Hill was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and one RBI. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. Lillie-Grace Moore was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
Dutch Fork was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as White Knoll only posted a batting average of .192.
Dutch Fork's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for White Knoll, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6-1.
