Baseball Recap: O'Fallon Takes a Loss

O'Fallon was the 7-3 winner over Collinsville when they last played one another on Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kahoks on Thursday. Surprisingly, this marked the Panthers' seventh straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

O'Fallon saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Perez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

O'Fallon's loss dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Collinsville, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-16 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. O'Fallon will welcome Edwardsville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Collinsville, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Centralia at 4:30 p.m.
