Volleyball Recap: New Albany Takes a Loss

The New Albany Bulldogs came up short against the Walnut Wildcats on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Albany started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-21, 25-19, 30-28.

Allie Keller paced New Albany's offense, picking up 17 kills. Keller really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 22. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

New Albany's loss dropped their record down to 2-2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Albany will face off against Kossuth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Walnut, they will venture away from home to face off against West Union at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
