Softball Recap: Boyle County Takes a Loss

If Boyle County was riding high fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Danville Christian Academy on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rebels fell just short of the Garrard County Golden Lions by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. The Rebels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Lions earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Boyle County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season. As for Garrard County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-15.

As of now, neither Boyle County nor the Golden Lions have any future games scheduled.
