Preview: Westampton Tech Panthers vs. Cherokee Chiefs
The Westampton Tech Panthers will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Cherokee Chiefs at 5:30 p.m. on December 28th. Westampton Tech has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Thursday, Westampton Tech narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Bordentown 55-53. The win was just what Westampton Tech needed coming off of a 73-49 loss in their prior contest.
Westampton Tech found their leader in underclassman Alexander Jeanty, who scored 15 points. Jeanty also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shakur Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cherokee earned a 45-38 win over Penns Grove on Saturday.
Westampton Tech's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Cherokee, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
