Basketball Recap: Lyman Comes Up Short

Lyman's game on Wednesday was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 52-40 to the Lake Howell Silverhawks. The Greyhounds haven't had much luck with the Silverhawks recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Janiel De Los Santos continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Lake Howell, putting up 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The match was De Los Santos' third in a row with at least ten points. Devonn Quailey was another key player, scoring eight points.

Lyman's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Lake Howell, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Lyman will head out on the road to square off against Winter Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake Howell, they will head out to face off against Orlando Christian Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Howell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.6 points per game this season.
