Quaker Valley proved they can win big on Monday (they won by ten) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Moon Area Tigers 4-2. For the Quakers, this counts as revenge for the 8-2 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

Ryan Finamore was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Oscar Roig, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Quaker Valley's victory bumped their record up to 12-6-1. As for Moon Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quaker Valley will host Obama Academy of International Studies at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Eagles have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Moon Area, they will welcome Trinity at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
