Basketball Recap: York's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

York extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Gianni Zeljo. The York Falcons took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging an 81-38 victory over the Trinity Christian Warriors thanks in part to Zeljo, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine assists. The game was his eighth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Dedome Demagbo, who posted seven points and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played.

York pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Trinity Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

York has already played their next match (against Pajaro Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Trinity Christian has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Anzar.
