Volleyball Recap: Kennedale Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Kennedale barely beat Lancaster the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Friday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Kennedale was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 25-21.

Kennedale's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-12. As for Lancaster, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

The Wildcats will face off against Sunnyvale at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (836 vs. 101). Meanwhile, Lancaster (ranked 768th) will meet DeSoto (ranked 349th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
