Alanson was the 51-45 winner over Harbor Light Christian when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Alanson Vikings fell 58-47 to the Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen on Friday. The Vikings' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Alanson's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Harbor Light Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Alanson will be playing in front of their home fans against Mackinaw City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harbor Light Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against Cedarville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
