Basketball Game Preview: Kent Denver Sun Devils vs. Legend Titans

The Kent Denver Sun Devils and the Legend Titans will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Kent Denver's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Kent Denver is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Arapahoe, who was ranked 14th at the time (Kent Denver was ranked tenth). Kent Denver walked away with an 80-69 victory over Arapahoe on Friday.

Elvis Lloyd was his usual excellent self, putting up 17 points. Caleb Lukkes was another key player, posting ten points.

Meanwhile, Legend earned a 74-61 win over Columbine on Friday.

Kent Denver better keep an eye on Carson Flowers. He was instrumental in Legend's win, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 12 boards. The match was Flowers' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Houlberg, who posted 12 points along with six boards and four blocks.

Kent Denver's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Legend, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Kent Denver hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 86.1 points per game. However, it's not like Legend struggles in that department as they've been averaging 64.7 points.
