Football Recap: Hoke County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hoke County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The contest between the Bucks and the Overhills Jaguars didn't end well, with the Bucks falling 24-6.

Peyton Price threw for 111 yards on 14 of 27 attempts. Wayne Claiborne was his top target, picking up 60 receiving yards. On the ground, Favor Anab rushed for 40 yards.

It was another big night for Clarence Teewia, who rushed for 98 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 carries for Overhills. Teewia's longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Hoke County's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Overhills, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Hoke County has already played their next matchup, a 27-8 victory against Pine Forest on the 10th. As for Overhills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 38-29 defeat against Pinecrest on the 10th.
