Basketball Recap: Anderson HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Anderson HomeSchool lost against Indianapolis Northwest W back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Anderson HomeSchool SONS came up short against the Indianapolis Northwest W Warriors, falling 58-35. While losing is never fun, the SONS can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Warriors are ranked 56th).

Indianapolis Northwest W's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Finn Sempsrott, who posted 12 points along with seven assists and seven steals. That's the most assists Sempsrott has posted since back in December of 2024. Josh Bowers was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 13 boards.

Anderson HomeSchool dropped their record down to 18-15 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Indianapolis Northwest W, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-7.

As of now, neither Anderson HomeSchool nor Indianapolis Northwest W have any future games scheduled.
