Volleyball Recap: Gulf Pointe Latin Continues Road Dominance on Thursday + How To Watch

Gulf Pointe Latin hadn't done well against East Hill Christian recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Gladiators were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. For the Gladiators, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Gulf Pointe Latin took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-6, 25-14.

Sara Lawson and Avalynn Mcghee certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Lawson had five digs and four aces, while Mcghee had six digs.
