Basketball Recap: Magnolia Takes a Loss

Magnolia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 49-11 loss at the hands of the Nashville Scrappers. The contest marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Magnolia's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Nashville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Magnolia Panthers take on the Camden Fairview Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nashville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lakeside at 5:00 p.m.
