Volleyball Recap: Brunswick Comes Up Short

Brunswick lost against Lakeside back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Ashley Adair paced Brunswick's offense, picking up seven kills. Adair got some help from Kate Small and her 18 assists. Allie Small controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Brunswick has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 31-14 record this season. As for Lakeside, their victory bumped their record up to 39-6.

Brunswick does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakeside, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Effingham County on the 11th.
