Football Recap: Vandegrift Vipers vs. Harlan Hawks
It's playoff time, and Vandegrift had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Harlan Hawks, posting a 47-14 victory. Considering the Vipers have won ten matches by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Miles Teodecki, who threw for 259 yards and five touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes, and also rushed for 36 yards. Those 36 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. George Farley was another key player, picking up 132 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Vandegrift didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. Harlan's loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Payton Matthews and Adrien Mcdade. Matthews picked up 100 receiving yards and one touchdown, while Mcdade rushed for 64 yards and one touchdown.
