East Providence was handed a four-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the South Kingstown Rebels 1-0. For East Providence, this counts as revenge for the 4-2 victory South Kingstown walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

East Providence's one-goal win came courtesy of Nigel Fernandes, who's now up to five this season.

East Providence pushed their record up to 10-1-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three contests. As for South Kingstown, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-2 record this season.
