Softball Recap: Nolan Catholic Comes Up Short

Nolan Catholic made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Trinity Christian, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Vikings fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. The Vikings' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it nine in a row.

Mallory Laux made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jaden Padilla, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Nolan Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-17-1. As for Trinity Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Nolan Catholic will face off against THESA at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Trinity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
