South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] and Hi-Plains squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] had to settle for second. They came up short against Hi-Plains, falling 3-0. South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett]'s defeat signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Sarah Elmore and Abigail Anderson, who picked up 12 kills apiece. They got some help from Eliana Gutierrez and her 18 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett]'s loss dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Hi-Plains, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.
