Volleyball Recap: Gray Stone Day Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Gray Stone Day had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to the East Rowan Mustangs. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12, 25-15.

East Rowan can attribute much of their success to Jordan Dry, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces Dry has posted since back in September of 2024.

Coming up, Gray Stone Day will look to defend their home court on Thursday against North Hills Christian at 6:00 p.m. As for East Rowan, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Southwestern Randolph at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
