Softball Recap: Stanton Takes a Loss

If Stanton was feeling good fresh off their 20-4 takedown of Crane last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Stanton lost 25-1 to the Coahoma Bulldogs on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on March 7th.

Stanton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11-1. As for Coahoma, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 19-0-1.

Coming up, Stanton will take on Lamesa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Coahoma, they and Colorado will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
