Baseball Recap: Cocoa Takes a Loss

Cocoa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 27-0 to the Astronaut War Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 27-0 last Monday.

Cocoa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Astronaut, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Cocoa will take on Cocoa Beach in a tournament on Wednesday. As for Astronaut, they are taking a road trip to challenge Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Astronaut is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.
