Soccer Game Preview: Bullard vs. Chapel Hill

Bullard is 1-9 against Chapel Hill since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Bullard Panthers will be playing at home against the Chapel Hill Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m.

Bullard is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lindale. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Panthers couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chapel Hill). They put the hurt on Grand Saline with a sharp 9-1 victory on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bulldogs with their most commanding win of the season.

Chapel Hill is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those nine matches. Bullard's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
