Brandon Valley has gone 8-2 against Roosevelt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Lynx will take on the Rough Riders in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. Roosevelt took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Brandon Valley, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Brandon Valley really took it to Jefferson for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-44 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lynx.

Brandon Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alyvia Padgett out in front who shot 47% from the field on her way to 21 points in addition to five boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Kellenberger, who went 8-for-12 en route to 21 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt lost 62-37 to O'Gorman on Saturday.

Brandon Valley has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Brandon Valley took their victory against Roosevelt when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 56-32 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lynx since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
