Soccer Recap: Mcmahon Gets Big Victory over Higher-Ranked Stamford

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but McMahon had no problem doing just that on Friday. They never let the Stamford Black Knights get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The victory was all the more spectacular given McMahon's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 70th, while Stamford are ranked 16th).

With the win, McMahon broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-7. As for Stamford, their loss dropped their record down to 13-4-1.

As of now, neither McMahon nor the Black Knights have any future games scheduled.
