Basketball Recap: East Mountain Comes Up Short

East Mountain lost against Bosque back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The East Mountain Timberwolves took a 50-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bosque Bobcats.

Bosque was led to victory by Wesley Harrigan and Josiah Wilson. Harrigan almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards, while Wilson posted 13 points in addition to eight steals and five assists. Those 15 points gave Harrigan a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Starr, who earned five points along with eight rebounds and four steals.

East Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Bosque, their record is now 14-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Mountain will welcome Sandia Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bosque, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Bosque Bobcats duke it out with the Menaul Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
