Troy Christian came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Covington Buccs, falling 13-2. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Troy Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady Stillwell, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Will Twiss also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Troy Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Covington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Troy Christian will head out to face off against Northridge at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Covington, they will venture away from home to square off against Bethel at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
