Softball Recap: Mobridge-Pollock Comes Up Short

If Mobridge-Pollock was riding high fresh off their 17-7 takedown of Redfield on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Deuel Cardinals on Tuesday.

Mobridge-Pollock now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Deuel, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Mobridge-Pollock will take on Chamberlain at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Cubs at the right time seeing as the Cubs are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Deuel, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-2 win against Redfield on the 22nd.
