Soccer Game Preview: Cary vs. Felton Grove

The Cary Imps will head out to face off against the Felton Grove Galaxy at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Cary is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Cary didn't have quite enough to beat Sanderson and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Felton Grove managed to keep up with Middle Creek until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Galaxy came up short against the Mustangs, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Felton Grove can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 439th, while Middle Creek are ranked sixth).

Felton Grove's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Cary, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Cary was able to grind out a solid victory over Felton Grove when the teams last played on October 1st, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Imps since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
