Softball Recap: Billingsley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Jemison last Monday, Billingsley came back down to earth. The Billingsley Bears came up short against the Marbury Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 19-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Billingsley now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Marbury, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Billingsley will face off against Thorsby at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marbury, they are taking a road trip to face off against Elmore County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
